About Me

Thanks for checking me out! My name is Sheri and I have been blogging since 2005. As most ‘mom blogs’, my site started as a way to update friends and family on our lives as my husband and I had just moved two provinces away and it seemed like the best way to put our pictures and stories out for everyone to see, and those who were interested would stop in for a visit.

The site was a big hit among friends and family and more surprising at the time, strangers stopped in and read too. It was wonderful to meet people who connected with us through a post or a similar interest and I loved blogging.

When our beautiful daughter came along in 2008, we realized that our site was too personal (funny the things that come to light when you have kids!) and too much information was out there for anyone to see. Sadly, our site was made private.

I missed being able to reach out to others through the internet so in early 2009, a second website was created to share how I work hard to find coupons and save our family extra money. This site grew rapidly and continues to grow every day. A few months after starting the site, I added product reviews and giveaways and I love it.

I’ve received emails with site questions, blog related questions, and requests from fellow friends and readers for help and I realized that those people who are emailing for assistance can’t be the only ones on the internet who have that question so Blogger Connect was created in the hopes of connecting fellow Canadian bloggers with each other with the common interest of monetization or product promotion. Whether it is through affiliates, paid advertisements, brand ambassador programs, product reviews and giveaways or other means.
